Bump
Last weekend, Sophie tripped in our family room and hit her head on the corner of the coffee table. I had never seen anything like it before, but before we were even able to pick her up, she developed a huge bump on her head. It was like someone shoved a marble under her skin in the instant she hit.
We quickly put ice on it, which Sophie thought was worse than the bump, and lucky for us, it shrunk significantly. Poor girl.

youch! i am still fascinated whenever one of my kids' gets an instant bruise, I can't believe how fast it can happen.

Jonah got an instant bruise and a lump two weeks ago and also hated the ice. Deja vu.
