Strangers

Having your baby girl be called a boy by a stranger is inevitable. However, there are some days where you are just sure that this will not happen. Take today, for example.

Here is Sophie dressed in a pink onesie, a pink ruffled skirt, and a white cardigan with little pink flowers embroidered on it.

Lady at the Doctor's Office: "Oh look! (gasp) A baby!.........Oh a boy!"
Me: (nothing)

In all honesty Abbie... you could have at least made it a little more obvious that she was a girl. There's no bow, headband, or ear rings. I may have made the same mistake.

Ditto to Cathy and Kim. I was thinking some big hoop earrings and a little rouge couldn't hurt.

the same think happened to me at church on sunday.
a lady sitting behind me asked : how did your son get so much hair?

i said they were all born with a lot of hair. i didnt want her to feel dumb although she should have for askling such a stupid question. i mean first of all boys dont wear dresses and second of all what do you mean how did she get so much hair, i obviously transplanted some of my hair onto my "son's " head
