A Lost Tooth

Sophie's first tooth in was also her first tooth out! I've heard that you loose your teeth in the order that you grow them, and so far it's the truth. Now, if she looses them in the speed that she gains them, she will have 13 teeth gone by October, so let's hope that's not the case.

 We first noticed that it was loose the week that Mary was born, so this has been a long time coming. It was finally ready to come out last week.

3 Months

Mary is 3 months old now! She is looking bigger to us, but is still tiny when compared to her 2 cousins, who both like to keep their cheeks nice & chubby. She has big bright eyes that we still cannot figure out the color of, but my guess today is that they are green. She as the cutest little bobble head, and the comment we get the most about her is that she looks like a little doll.

Unbeknownst to any of us, the 3-Month-Olds had coordinated their outfits Sunday night.

Mary's Blessing

At the beginning of December, Jake blessed Mary at our church. It was great, and we got to spend the whole day with our families.


Earlier in the day, Hazel was also blessed by Ben, so we decided to celebrate together, and had a big extended families dinner. Lots of food, lots of kids running around, and lots of fun.

Here is Mary in her blessing dress. This dress was made by her great-grandma Grace back in the 1950's. She made several hoping that her daughters could use them for their baby blessings, but she never had any girls. So it was packed away and not discovered until a couple of years ago when she died. I feel so lucky to be able to finally use one how she wanted!
