Comprehension
I've noticed lately that Sophie is beginning to really understand what things are. For example, she picked up her shoe the other day, and instead of it going directly into her mouth like usual, she tried to put it on her foot.
Yeah.
Like a big girl.
And this morning, we were playing with some of her toys, and this is what she did:

so cute! this is my favorite stage. they're just soaking it up. they're so smart. they're so fun!
How does Sophie even know how to use a (non-cell) phone? A rotary dial no less! She is brilliant.
Ooooh, that is one cute little princess. She has her daddy eating out of her hands. So cute to hear her.
how fun when they do the phone thing! but gracie ruined my old cell from sucking on it too much, so just watch out for that.
And Jake, too. Seems like only a couple years ago he couldn't figure out how to get the blanket off his head.
i remember the first time i realized that ava was comprehending things more fully, i couldn't believe that a baby her age could understand so much!
