I have a brother (who will go unnamed) who is one of the luckiest people I know. Well, he's wrecked every car my parents have ever owned, but besides that, unbelivably lucky. His friends even noticed how lucky he always is. We call it "Mike's Luck". But again, I'm not going to tell you who I'm talking about.
Anyway, I hadn't met anyone as lucky as my brother until I met my husband. Jake has an incredible ability to win things. He wins radio call-in contests on a regular basis. Who wins those? I'll tell you - it's Jake. Just this week, he called into the WB TV show, needing to be the 1st caller, and won us 4 tickets to Old Tucson Studios and dinner for 4 at Blimpie (which is extremely fortunate for me because my baby LOVES subs for some reason).
Previous Winnings:
A prom package (in high school) including tux rental, dinner, & a limo driven by the radio DJ
Tickets to a Coyotes game (won on 2 separate occasions)
Tickets to a Suns game (also won on 2 separate occasions)
Tickets to a Diamondbacks game
5 lunches at Whataburger
Easter brunch at a fancy Phoenix restaurant (gave that one away)
Charlie Daniels Band tickets
Its pretty great to be married to a winner.

my baby loves subway. mmmmmm oh, and my friend the rubber band doesn't quite cut it anymore. :( You look great!
why haven't i ever heard of mike's luck? i didn't know he was that lucky. i mean, he did marry me, which is pretty darn lucky, but other than that, i haven't noticed much else. jake is officially lucky. anyone who has won as many free tickets as he has either has amazing luck or just enters a whole lot of contests. sounds like you are pretty lucky, too. you married a winner. by the way, do you want the blue wing chair that was in your parents' bedroom? i was going to slipcover it and use it in ours, but it is too big. if you don't want it, i will put it in our az room.
Well it's about time Jake had something going for him! I hope you detedt my sarcasm. Not only is Jake smart and funny and your perfect match, but that's the luckiest guy I've heard of- he should try to get on Deal or NoDeal or Fear Factor, the Apprentice something where you get loads of money from luck.
PS I'm not in love with your husband, I love mine- who is quite lucky in finding good parking spots, or at least used to be.
Shocks, Pegs...Luckyyy.
This is also the first time I have heard of my so-called luck.
My husband has a combination of luck, common sense, incredible talent, high intellect, and a slight ununderstood intimidation factor which makes me lucky that he's usually on my side/team.
